Maintenance of reinforced concrete (RC) structures has become a global issue due to the problems associated with corrosion steel reinforcement. Corrosion RC results in severe serviceability and strength issues, which turn necessitates major repair works. Though it is difficult eliminate risk structures, appropriate retrofitting procedures can be implemented restore lost strength. This paper presents detailed analysis mechanism members procedure for corrosion-damaged subjected different loading conditions. Moreover, efficiency existing strengthening techniques, such as jacketing, fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites, engineered cementitious composites (ECCs), ferrocement fabric-reinforced (FRCMs) ultra-high-toughness (UHTCCs), are evaluated compared relation restoring/enhancing performance under scenarios. provides comparison effects parameters governing suggests suitable design recommendations improving overall members.
